After a job interview, there are generally three basic emails you can send: One to your interviewer(s) right away, one to follow up if you haven’t heard back in a timely manner, and one to keep in touch for networking reasons.

Sometimes you won’t hear back from your interviewer until after you’ve already sent a thank-you note.
